Challenge

Leonardo Zürich, a Swiss premium fashion brand, launched its first-ever e-commerce platform in October 2024 for its 50th anniversary. The challenge was to establish the online store from scratch, build awareness, and prove that a traditionally offline luxury product, premium coats and jackets, could succeed digitally in its first season online.

Approach

I took full ownership of the e-commerce strategy and execution. This included:

  • Building and managing the online shop from launch

  • Optimizing the user experience for seasonal collection drops

  • Creating a seamless shopping journey aligned with the brand’s premium identity

  • Highlighting key products through storytelling and targeted campaigns

A core part of the strategy was spotlighting the Oversized Teddy Coat, a hero product with strong sales potential.

Results

  • Generated over CHF 200,000 in online sales in the first 8 months since launch

  • The Oversized Teddy Coat sold out twice, leading to pre-orders and growing demand

  • Featured in the Swiss press and widely requested by influencers for collaborations

  • Built an online store that is now a revenue engine for the brand, not just a showcase
